Sounding the Alarm
The Armidale community is invited to join with people of faith around the world in drawing sharp attention to the existential emergency of our time: Global Heating.
This will be commemorated by a brief ceremony at the Uniting Church in which community concerns about climate change will be raised.
It is the eleventh hour for climate action! We are in a climate emergency, and there is no time to waste.
People will be invited to sign GreenFaith International’s multi-faith statement, calling for recovery from COVID-19 which will help create a more just world order while tackling the climate crisis.
To act united by our fundamental belief that all people, all living things, and the Earth are sacred.
