I would like to invite you again, for second tree-planting session at Banded Bee Farm (BBF), Saumarez Ponds.
The first planting (Sun 11th October 2020) was a fun outing. Around twenty of us got some 200 native trees, shrubs and bushes into the terra firma. This was followed by an invigorating conversation, not surprisingly about some pressing ‘policy’ issues, over a late morning tea before we headed home.
Both this second planting and the first one form part of Armidale Tree Group’s Every Tree Counts – Saumarez Creek Corridor. I’ve included a short overview about BBF below this email.
- What: Tree planting to enhance the Saumarez Creek Corridor
- When: 9.30am to 12midday, Saturday 6 March 2021
- Where: Banded Bee Farm, 192 Dumaresq Road SAUMAREZ PONDS NSW 2370
- RSVP: To me, by Wednesday 3 March 2021
- Covid19: The tree planting will be outside, with social distancing in place. Please wear suitable clothing and bring your own gloves, hat, water, sunscren, etc. Obviously, please don’t come if you have any symptoms, are awaiting test results or have been in a C19 hotspot area in the previous fortnight.
I look forward to spending more time in the great outdoors with a few of you, and lending a hand restoring and enhancing the health of our beautiful landscape and local food production.
Please let me know if you can attend.
Kind regards, Adam
