NPA WALK & TALK: Crown Land proposed for sale

We hope you can join us for a … WALK & TALK to look at the proposal to sell a piece of Crown Land located in south Armidale adjoining 29 and 39 Braund Street and 22 Springhill Lane, Armidale At present this Crown Land is public access and a useable walkway and thoroughfare for people between the bottom of Ross Street and Springhill Lane Armidale. Sale of the land into private ownership would mean the public would no longer have right of access. We will look at the flora and fauna, including koala, habitat and the existing wildlife corridors, and we will be walking on dirt and grass track so you will need to wear sturdy footwear.

• WHEN: Friday 28th August 2020
• TIME: 1.30 pm for approximately 1hour
• MEET: Corner of Ross St and Hillview Road Armidale, via O’Connor Road (Please park off Ross St as this is a traffic access road. There is no access along Hillview Road from Lynches Road)
• WHERE: We will walk down Ross Street and along the piece of Crown Land proposed for sale and back to the vehicles
