And this year marks our 30th birthday (can you believe it?) so we’re keen to get as many people involved as possible. We encourage you to choose your own adventure! Get involved by hosting a Clean Up of your own – or joining one in your neighbourhood. Why not consider making a day-trip and heading out of town, to help a community that needs an extra pair of hands? Or just stepping up and making a donation, so we can keep doing the good work we do, all year round…
The team at Newcastle Permanent Building Society Armidale will be working to clean up Dumaresq creek this Clean up Australia Day. We encourage Customer of Newcastle Permanent and members of the community to join us in an effort to help beautify our city and assist the local environment and ecosystems. We will be meeting at the Armidale Visitor Centre carpark at approximately 8.45a.m to start our clean up at 9a.m on the 1st of March 2020. This will be our second year running this local clean up event. Last year we removed 8 large bags of rubbish from the creek. We are proud to support the ‘good stuff’ within our community and hope to see you there!
