The O-Week Landcare-Rivercare Event 2020 is planned for this Friday. Tom Fisher would appreciate support with supervising and assisting students with the activities such as planting, weeding, spreading mulch etc.
Lions will be preparing and serving a BBQ lunch.

- Volunteer Assembly: 9:30am – 10:30am
- Event Start Time: 10:30am
- Lunch (BBQ) Start: 11:30am
- Event End Time: 2:00pm
Please wear / bring:
- closed & sturdy footwear
- hat
- gloves
- sunscreen
- water bottle
Activities: There will be many people there who are experienced with these activities, who will guide you and help you with any questions.
- Registration of student participants
- planting trees, shrubs and grasses
- extracting weeds by hand and hand tools
- spreading mulch by wheelbarrow and rake
- watering plants directly from creek (if possible)
- supervising and assisting
- free BBQ for all participants and volunteers.
