Moving forward into the new year, the nationwide call to initiate an emergency transition to restore safe climate conditions grows louder.
- What: National Climate Emergency Summit
- Where: Melbourne Town Hall
- When: 14-15 February 2020
The Summit will convene governments, practitioners, researchers, industry innovators, youth leaders, and prominent advocates in a focused and collaborative two-day event to explore what a full-scale safe climate transition could look like if implemented at emergency speed.
This event is taking a cross-sector approach to confronting the climate emergency with the aim of tackling the widest possible range of critical issues spanning the political, economic, technical, and social change dimensions of a society-wide transition.
The National Climate Emergency Summit is open to the public and invites delegates, independent citizens, and students to fill Melbourne Town Hall and be a part of shaping Australia’s climate emergency transition.
