MUSICIANS RISING is a platform for music artists to contribute to the national efforts to defend the Galilee Basin. Participating musicians will converge at Binbee in Central Queensland from October 24th-27th to show support for Frontline Action on Coal’s work opposing the Adani Carmichael mine.
It will involve four days of music, up-skilling, creativity, and of course action!
Artists involved include indie singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell, Ben Gordon of metalcore legends Parkway Drive, and mixed-media art pop duo Ginger and the Ghost. The artists will be using the opportunity to learn more about the campaign, write new music, and use their social platforms to bring awareness to the environmental cost of mining in the Galilee.
