Concerned members of our community who are angry at the news this week that ADANI will be proceeding are invited to join a march to give voice to your concern. The Reef, Queensland’s Artesian Water, the climate, the traditional owners, the environment, our young people and the future are all losers if this proceeds.
Meet at 11.00am this Saturday 8th December. Meet at the bandstand in Central Park & walk together to the Mall.
- Wear Stop Adani T shirts or red.
- Bring banners & pot lids, whistles, drums & trumpets to make a racket. Let’s shake this place up!
As Sir David Attenborough said yesterday at the United Nations climate change summit in Poland-‘Time is Running Out. If we don’t take action now the collapse of our civilizations and the extinction of much of the natural world is on the horizon’.
The future for our young people is in our hands. The time to show up is now!
