Partnership Renewal for Community Solar Power Bulk-buy Program

Farming the Sun has surpassed its goal of 1MW of additional solar power installations throughout the greater New England North West region (NENW) of NSW. This amounts to a significant 2% increase in the number of small-scale solar installations.

Total installations for Farming the Sun from all projects over the last decade have now surpassed 2.25MW of solar power, plus solar hot water and solar thermal heating and cooling systems.

The collective impact of our partnerships has played a key part in this success, and has demonstrated the power of large-scale collaborations for achieving positive step-changes in the understanding and take-up of solar energy technologies.

In light of this success, Starfish and Eco Energy & Solar Solutions (our solar specialist and partner) have agreed to extend the program with a further 1MW target for the 2018 calendar year.
