We must not forget the struggle to protect water and life here in NSW over the campaign to stop Adani.
In fact, it is important to combine these campaigns and to combine forces, not only across states and beyond Australia, but also across campaign areas.
The system which puts profits before people and the environment is at the root of most of our problems, be that the environmental destruction and pollution caused by coal and coal seam gas mining, the shameful treatment of those in need of support and those seeking safety or the violence in our society, including that against women.
The Progressive Cinema screening on international women’s day will bring together women on the frontlines protecting water and life.
