Kerri Clarke ex-convenor of the SLA action group Armidale Action on CSG and Mining will present a synopsis of the Restore, Regenerate, Revegetate conference.
The conference was held between 5-9 February 2017 at the University of New England in Armidale and brought together people from mining rehabilitation, Landcare, carbon farming, revegetation, wildlife reintroduction and biodiversity conservation industries.
The program featured some of the best known restoration practitioners and ecologists in Australasia and overseas.
Kerri will bring an outsider’s perspective on the gathering with a wish that it also had Retain! in the conference name.
SLA has been holding monthly open forums for ten years, with a wide range of interesting topics. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Forum “A synopsis of the Restore, Regenerate, Revegetate conference” is on Thursday 4th May, 7pm at Kent House, 141 Faulkner Street, opposite Central Park. Light refreshments to follow, gold coin donation.
