The AURG is holding a Working Bee on Sunday 28th August, 2016.
The working bee will introduce our plans for Restoration and Rehabilitation of the creeklands downstream of where Centennial Ave would intersect with Dumaresq Creek. The program will include an introduction to the project, planting of Juncus and Lomandra and a creek walk.
Details of the working bee are as follows:
- Time: 8.30 am
- Date: Sunday 28th August, 2016
- Location: Site 11 on the northern side of Dumaresq Creek. Access and Parking – off Erskine Street into Centennial Cl. There is a narrow walkway from Centennial Cl. through to the creeklands opposite Site 11. Alternatively, park at Phil Wheaton Field and walk along the drainage line, on the Centennial Cl. side, through to the creeklands.
- What to bring: BYO long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy boots. Please also bring gloves, broad brim hat and sunscreen.
As always a morning tea and lunch will be provided for a gold coin donation.
