Join us as we celebrate Armidale’s community owned nursery!! A fantastic range of free workshops and activities. Bring the family and enjoy. Live music and produce stalls.
- 10.30am – Free Workshop (Booking essential) “Growing Native plants in Armidale” with Warren Sheather. Join one of Australia’s leading native plant experts Warren Sheather for a 1?2 hour workshop as he shares his knowledge on successfully growing natives in Armidale
- 11.30am – Free Workshop (Booking essential)”Perennial Food Plants” with ecologist Dr Jane Pickard. Come to her 1 hour workshop and learn about how to start your own food forest and explore some of the exciting possibilities.
- 12.30pm – Free workshop (Booking essential) “Feeding your Garden” with long time organic gardener and tree group member Ray South. Ray will show you organic methods to feed your garden in a 1?2 hour workshop.
- 11am & 1pm – Woodland Tour Join us on a 1?2 hour walk of the Mike O’Keefe Woodland and the SMART Tree project, an internationally recognised tree project in our own backyard. Come and plant some trees in the Woodland if you like.
- 11.30-1.30 Free BBQ
