Welcome to Spring. What a wonderful blessing the recent rains have been. As the earth is still moist, we will be taking the opportunity to distribute the biodynamic preparations to assist recovery of the soil structure after the lengthy dry spell. Just a note to let you know that we will be holding a
- Field Demonstration on Sunday 14th September, 2014 at
- ‘Tara’ 811 Castledoyle Rd, Armidale
- Commencing at 2.00pm with tea, cake & discussion
We will be stirring/applying BD500 preparation, along with Cow Manure Concentrate, with the aim of building soil structure & humus, attracting soil life i.e. earthworms, bacteria & funghi, and thus increasing the water holding capacity of the soil. A quantity of stirred preparation will be available to take home for spreading on your own garden, so to that end please bring along a 2 litre sealed container. The afternoon will be hands on so please wear practical clothing and bring along a hearth brush or large paint brush to help distribute the stirred preparation.
