Come and experience the highlights, drama, courage and tenacity of people working to protect the Leard and Pilliga State Forests in Northern NSW. These iconic places are currently under threat from open cut coal mining and coal seam gas exploration. The images are a testament to the photographers who have been documenting the nature of the Leard and Pilliga state forests in North West NSW and the people who are working to protect it.

exhibit-poster-new-smallThe exhibition will be opened by activist Iain MacKay with a night featuring spiced wine, nibbles and nature’s soundtrack of the Pilliga and Leard forests. There will be a silent auction on all professionally print and mounted photography pieces exhibited and postcard reproductions to purchase. The exhibition will be on show for a further week during Armidale Tree Group opening hours.
