The AURG is holding a tree planting day in Elizabeth Park on Sunday 11 May.
We have two small sites in the north west corner of Elizabeth Park 1 (straight north of the toilet block) and can do some fill in plantings on a previous planting site close by.
Entry to the site will be the gate into Elizabeth Park 1 corner of Dumaresq and Butler Sts., Bruce Whan has a key.
Details of the working bee are as follows:-
- Time: 8.30 am
- Date: Sunday 11th May 2014
- Location: The best access walking / cycling will be off Dumaresq Street via the Bicycle track opposite the toilet block or Off Butler Street near St Peters Pre School. Those with trailers can enter the gate into Elizabeth Park 1 corner of Dumaresq and Butler Sts.
- What to bring: BYO long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy boots. Please also bring gloves, broad brim hat and sunscreen.
As always a morning tea and lunch will be provided for a gold coin donation.
