SLA and the Federal Election – New England seat

There are nine candidates standing in the seat of New England. Where do they stand on the environment and climate?

Sustainable Living Armidale (SLA) is not politically aligned or affiliated, but we do encourage engagement with political issues, particularly those issues that affect the sustainability of our local community in the face of resource depletion and climate change. In this spirit, we have looked at the websites of the candidates/minor parties standing for the seat of New England, and quote their own words.

We have not included quotes from Labor, Nationals nor Greens, as we consider their extensive policies are well-known in the community.

Below is the order of the ballot paper.
