Big advances towards sustainable power generation by several communities in NSW will be announced as part of the New Energy Forum in Tamworth on July 9.

Funding for development of seven community-owned solar farms at sites stretching from the North Coast to the Riverina will be announced by NSW State Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson, along with funding for a third phase of work in the New England Wind project.

Outgoing member for New England, Tony Windsor, an advocate for renewable energy who visited some of the world’s most advanced renewable power installations in 2011, will be addressing the forum.

Come along to the launch to find out more and get involved.
