Autumn Festival – SLA float

Armidale’s Autumn Festival Parade will be on Saturday 17th March, starting at 12.30pm.

An SLA gathering to start work on our float is on Saturday 3rd March at 3 o’clock.

SLA has been part of this massive parade for the past three years, with a ‘walking float’, and we’re now planning this year’s and invite your help to refine our current idea (a bit secret, but think clean renewable energy) and add your creativity.

Can you come to a gathering on Saturday 3rd March at 163 Barney Street at 3 o’clock to look at our resources and work out a plan, and make a start? If not, and you’d like to be involved but can’t make that time, please email info@slaati, and we’ll let you know the next gathering and keep you in the loop.

Previous years we’ve had excellent times creating a colourful and musical float that gets the Sustainability message out to the thousands of locals that watch the Parade.

Please put the 17th March in your diary, and plan to join us then, even if you’re not free to help create the float.
