The August Tuesday Forum will be a talk by Professor Annette Cowie on the role that agriculture can play in climate change. This is not a simple subject since agriculture is both a contributing factor in the production of greenhouse gas emissions and has an enormous potential for being part of the solution, for example by sequestering carbon in soils. Professor Cowie’s talk will shed some light on current research in these areas, and explain some of the implications for emissions trading.
Gold coin donation appreciated. Light refreshments available.
We look forward to seeing you there.
