Speaking Fire in the Garden — Spoken Word Poetry

Sending a shout out to the poets, storytellers and lovers of words of Armidale and surrounds.

Please come along  Wednesday 21st of March to the Armidale Aboriginal Community Garden 6–8pm to share in the art that is spoken word. Come and get some tips on performing your own work and listen to some new and old works by Gomeroi Poet Rob Waters.

This will be the first of many “Speaking Fire in the Garden” events where there will be a chance for you to listen and share your own works, or share works by others that have inspired you.*

Each “Speaking Fire” session will be themed so people can create something new or even find something each time that they want to share; as this is the first time we are running it, the theme is open.
