DESCRIPTION:Join people from around the community to ask the government to take greater action with regard to the unfolding tragedy and humanitarian crisis in Palestine and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. \nSpecifically\, the protest is asking the government to: \n\nSanction Israel\nPlace an arms\, and arms components\, embargo on Israel – end the arms trade\nVigorously promote diplomatic solutions to this crisis\, using its leverage in the international scene to bring about change\, including by ending diplomatic relations with Israel\n\nHear the perspectives of members of the community on the issue and have your say. \nThis is a family friendly event and activities will be available for children. There will also be music and poetry on the day.
