SUMMARY:Webinar: Unpacking the NSW State of the Environment Report
DESCRIPTION:The NSW State of the Environment report is the Premier’s scientific report card. Released every three years by the NSW Environment Protection Authority – the report tracks the health of our land\, waterways\, wildlife\, air and climate over time. \nFrom a tripling of the number of annual fish kill events\, to the ever-growing list of endangered species – it’s clear that we all need to take urgent action to turn these startling findings around. \nThe NSW Environment Protection Authority is joining us to unpack the report and three nature leaders will analyse what the findings mean for the environment movement in NSW. And we will share some practical actions we can all take from here. \nHere are the registration details: \nWhat: Webinar: Unpacking the NSW State of the Environment Report \nWhen: Tuesday 8 July\, 1-2pm AEST\nWhere: Online via Zoom\nRSVP: Register for free \nReport expert Darcy Welsh from the NSW Environment Protection Authority will join us to break down the key findings from the report. \nYou will also hear expert analysis from two environmental leaders and myself: \n\nJeff Angel\, Executive Director from Total Environment Centre\nGeorge Woods\, Head of Research and Investigations from Lock the Gate\, and\nJacqui Mumford\, Chief Executive Officer from Nature Conservation Council of NSW\n\nOur Policy and Advocacy Director\, Dr Brad Smith will facilitate the discussion. \nThere will be time during the webinar for a Q&A session.
