SUMMARY:Armidale Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:Armidale Farmers Market is on 2nd Sunday each month 8:30am–12:30pm at Curtis Park \nOne of the great advantages of Curtis Park is that many people will be able to cycle and walk to the market. We’re always working on new ideas and activities in the pipeline and are aiming to continue to provide a vibrant and quality market. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and Instagram. \nIf you are a paid up member of Sustainable Living Armidale you are welcome to sell produce at the Armidale Local Food stall with a slice of profits going to paying for the stall and surplus goes to SLA which in turn propels new projects. \nBYO bags + reuseables\, we’re aiming for a plastic free zone!

SUMMARY:Energy in the Pub: In Conversation - Renewable Energy and the NE REZ
DESCRIPTION:Energy in the Pub is an opportunity to connect with locals\, researchers\, government representatives\, and community members who are passionate about shaping the future of our region. Whether you’re a long-time advocate or just starting to explore the issues and actions surrounding renewable energy in our region\, All are Welcome. \nThis year the Energy Charter held an event here in March working towards a Regional Energy Accord\,  in May UNE and Councils held a New England REZ Forum discussing cumulative impacts. In addition biodiversity workshops\, networking and grants projects from a range of groups have news to report. \n\n\nWe are following these dialogues in a more relaxed setting. Join us for Energy in the Pub\, an informal community gathering to keep the conversation going on renewable energy\, regional development\, and what it all means for the New England. We encourage you to invite an interested colleague\, friend or neighbor to help expand the conversation. \n\n\n\nIncludes: Free nibbles\, pizza and pop-up Energy Trivia\nRSVP: This event is FREE but you need to register and will find more details at Energy in the Pub\n\n\nCome along\, grab a drink\, and let’s talk about what a just and community-led energy transition looks like for New England. \n \n\n\nWe hope to see you there!
