Nominations now open for NSW Green Globe Awards

Minister Mark Speakman is calling for nominations from across the region for the 16^th Green Globe Awards, which celebrate outstanding environmental achievements throughout NSW. They are New South Wales’s biggest and most important sustainability awards, with 17 award categories covering a range of resource, business, community and individual sustainability initiatives.

This year a new Residential Sustainability Award has been added to highlight those property owners, architects and builders who are creating comfortable homes that work with their environment. Whether it’s benchmarking your performance amongst your peers or celebrating with and recognising the achievements of your staff and customers – these awards are a really fantastic opportunity for businesses across the Northern Tablelands which have a strong focus on sustainability. Nominations are open until 13 July 2015. For more information go: www.environment.nsw.gov.au/greenglobes
