The AURG and HiCUB is holding a community tree planting day this coming Sunday, 13^th November 2011. This tree planting day will be at the eastern part of the Rologas playing fields.  All AURG members and the community are invited to come along and get involved in this great project. Fortunately for us the area has already been prepared by Mick Jarochowicz, Phil Hewitt from Green Screens Landscapes and an AURG working bee held today.

We are doing a lot of publicity for this tree planting day with letter box drop in the area and media releases to the papers and radio so hopefully we will get a lot of the Armidale community coming along.

Details as follows:-

• Time: AURG members to start at 8.30am to set up for the general community.  The general public are expected to arrive at 9am.
• Date: Sunday 13 November 2011.
• Location: The site can be accessed from the Dumaresq Creek crossing of Taylor St.
• What to bring: Planting equipment like trowels, small mattocks etc. Of course please bring your own personal protection gear (gloves, hats, sturdy boots, sun screen etc).

A morning tea and BBQ lunch will be sponsored by HiCUB and provided by the Lions Club for a gold coin donation.  Please remember to bring your own mug!
