SLA Village Community Meal this Friday

Friday, 26 Aug
6:00 pm

If you enjoyed/liked the sound of SLA’s last August forum (where we shared good company, food, music and an interest in sustainability), you and your family might like to join SLA Village for our monthly shared meal.  The next one will be this Friday, 26 August.  Our newest member, Yvette, is travelling from Sydney to join us, so let’s make her feel welcome!
We open the kitchen at Kent House (141 Faulkner St) at 6.00pm and usually start dinner around 7pm.  No RSVP is necessary; however, feel free to email village-owner@slarmidale.org with an informal acceptance or questions.

SLA Village is an Action Group supporting the growth of intentional sustainable communities locally.  While some of us are interested in living in the same neighbourhood, an interest in a residential community is not a criterion for membership.  If you like the idea of sharing a meal and having some fun with like-minded souls (there are 49 people on the distribution list, so there’s a reasonable chance of meeting such people), do come along to our monthly shared meals, which are held on the last Friday of the month.

For more information about SLA Village, we invite you to go to SLA’s main website (https://slarmidale.org), hover your mouse over the “Village” button to see various “blogs” on the topic.

Best wishes
Cathie Lamont
“Village” Convenor
